Installation - LOSA patches

  The file discribe the requirements and the installation of the LOSA
patches. You can also use the installation description in the upper
directory.

Requirements:

   - linux-2.4.1.tar.gz
   - util-linux-2.9w.src.rpm or util-linux-2.9w.tar.gz
   - sh-utils-2.0.src.rpm or sh-utils-2.0.tar.gz

   - libaudit


Patching the system applications

   Change to the directory, where the system applications sources are
located. At a RedHat sytem is this the directory:

     /usr/src/redhat/SOURCES

And type for every packages:

    patch -p0 < [losa_dir]/patches/[packages]-losa.patch

After this one you can configure and compile the package. Before you install the
new binary, make sure that the libaudit is installed and the file audit_acl.db
exists in the /etc-directory.

Patching the kernel

   Make sure the kernel version is installed in the directory named:

     /usr/src/

   and the link

     /usr/src/linux->./linux-[version]

   exists. In this case type:

     cd [losa_dir]/patches/linux-[version].patch
     ./kpatch
